What happens during a free consultation?

During your free, no-obligation consultation, we take time to look at your hair properly and understand what you would like to achieve.

We will talk through your desired look, your current hair condition, your colour history, your maintenance routine, your budget and whether your goal is best achieved with colour, highlights, balayage, a haircut, a treatment or a more gradual plan.

We may also discuss whether your hair is strong enough for the colour result you want, what can realistically be achieved in the first appointment, and whether a strand test is needed to help us see how your hair may respond.

We encourage you to bring photos of styles, colours and looks you like. One picture does not always show the full answer, but by looking at a few examples together, we can create a plan that works better for your hair, your lifestyle and your expectations.

What should I book if my hair looks dull but I do not want a big change?

You may only need a toner refresh, gloss, treatment, trim or cut and blow-dry. These smaller maintenance appointments can make your hair look fresher, softer and more polished without needing a major colour change.

If your hair colour still feels right but has lost shine, tone or shape, this is often the best place to start.

What is a toner refresh and who is it for?

A toner refresh helps improve the tone of blonde, highlighted or coloured hair between bigger colour appointments. It can soften unwanted warmth, refresh faded colour, add shine and make the hair look more finished.

It is a good option if you like your colour but feel it has gone dull, brassy, flat or less fresh over time.

Do you offer highlights?

Yes. We offer highlight services, including T-section highlights, partial highlights and fuller highlight appointments depending on the result you want.

Highlights can be a good option if you want brightness, softness, dimension or a fresher blonde result. If you are unsure whether you need a small refresh or a fuller highlight appointment, we recommend starting with a consultation.

Do you offer balayage?

Yes. We offer balayage and softer colour services for clients who want a more blended, lower-maintenance colour result.

Balayage can be a good option if you want brightness and dimension without a harsh regrowth line. A consultation may be needed first so we can check your hair condition, colour history, goal, timing and price before booking.

What should I book if I want an easy-maintenance haircut?

If you want hair that is easier to manage day to day, book a cut and blow-dry or consultation. We can advise on shape, layers, length, styling, movement and what will suit your hair type and lifestyle.

A good haircut should not only look nice on the day. It should also help your hair sit better between appointments.

Do you offer hair treatments?

Yes. Hair treatments are available and may be recommended if your hair feels dry, weak, dull, frizzy or difficult to manage.

Treatments can support the condition and feel of the hair, especially alongside colour maintenance, toner refreshes, highlights or regular cutting. We will always advise what is suitable based on your hair condition.

Do I need a patch test before colour?

Yes. A patch test is required before colour services, especially if you are a new client, have not had colour with us recently, or are changing your colour service.

This is for your safety and must be completed before certain colour appointments. If you are unsure whether you need one, please contact the salon before booking.

How do I know whether I need a quick refresh, colour maintenance or a bigger change?

A quick refresh is best if your hair needs a simple lift, such as a trim, blow-dry, toner refresh or treatment.

Colour maintenance is best if you already like your colour but want to keep it fresh with root colour, toner, glossing or smaller highlight work.

A bigger change is best if you want a new colour direction, balayage, fuller highlights, a restyle, or a result that needs more planning and time.
